Launched as part of the grand opening of the highly anticipated SIXTY DC Hotel in Washington, Casamara restaurant, bar and rooftop is a high end Mediterranean oasis in the heart of the city.
Casamara welcomes you through a striking dark wood archway that leads into its elegant dining area. The space features checkerboard marble floors that add a timeless touch, while a grand centerpiece bar with a unique, sculptural shape displays an array of bottles and glassware, serving as the focal point of the room. The bar is complemented by custom table lamps, striking marble countertops, and distinctive wood paneling that curves to mirror the bar’s silhouette.
A stunning 54-foot tapestry, hand-tufted in Spain, adorns one wall, adding an element of artistry and cultural richness. The seating includes wood chairs with a warm, inviting feel, and the ceiling is subtly enhanced with two custom cream panels showcasing different delicate designs, creating a refined yet unique atmosphere.
A long wooden wine cabinet with classical-shaped glass panels showcases an impressive selection, blending functionality with aesthetic appeal.
Outside, the full rooftop patio offers incredible views of DuPont Circle. It features a U-shaped bar crafted from custom metal with an organic, flowing design in green tones. The lounge seating combines rich wood tones with a mix of patterned and colorful fabrics, creating a cozy, welcoming ambiance for guests to relax and enjoy the open-air setting. Throughout the space, the checkerboard pattern floors unify the design, evoking a coastal Mediterranean vibe that’s both fresh and sophisticated.
